Piwapisk Hauling.

Piwapisk Hauling LP is headquartered in Winnipeg, Manitoba developed and operated in partnership with NRT and nine First Nations bands throughout Manitoba:

• Bunibonibee Cree Nation

• Chemawawin Cree Nation

• Norway House Cree Nation

• Nisichawayasihk Cree Nation

• Sagkeeng First Nation

• Opaskwayak Cree Nation

• God’s Lake Narrows First Nation

• Marcel Colomb Cree Nation

• Mosakahiken Cree Nation

These bands are collectively known as The Assini Group Inc.. 

Together with The Assini Group Inc, NRT initially designed Piwapisk Hauling to supply materials to a new mine in northwestern Ontario. Today, Piwapisk hauling has grown to further bridge the service gap between western Canada and northern Ontario. This new Manitoba branch of NRT serves as a transportation hub and access point to various processing plants, providing a gateway to new industrial opportunities in Manitoba and northern Ontario. 

The development of Piwapisk Hauling LP is the result of seeing the potential for a vibrant, sustainable, and productive mining economy in Manitoba, built in direct collaboration with local First Nations communities.

We aim to collectively and actively pursue this mission for years to come through Piwapisk Hauling.
